The last iteration of the main Panachroma site was rushed out in a hurry.
We’d been sitting on it because we didn’t really know what to do with it, hadn’t found a decent Content Management System, and there were other/better things to do.
After finally having enough of it, I found Concrete5, an awesome CMS. And I quickly adapted a minimalist site design from a free repository. Slam, bam, thank you ma’am. It served its purpose, but it was overly dark and the typography sucked.
Enter our new site design! Lovingly built in tender XHTML and CSS from the ground up. It’s brighter, it’s cleaner, and it’s simpler.
Navigation’s been whittled down to 5 tasks: Consult, Learn, Contact, Shop, Blog. The old navigation was confusing and repetitive. It was also missing one of the key planned parts of the Panachroma siteāthe Learn section.
We think you’ll find it more pleasant to use and easier to navigate.
There’s still some tweaking going on with the layout, typography, and content, but we hope you’ll find the new site easier to use. And we welcome your comments. So let us know what you think!
